Care More in the Action. Care Less in the Outcome.

Results are a product of action. But if you're over-concerned about the outcome, you'll never take the action in the first place.

That's the trap. We obsess over where we'll land — the body we want, the pose we can't hold yet, the life we're chasing — and the obsession freezes us. We care so much about the result that we never do the thing that earns it.

The outcome was never yours to control. The action always was.

You can't will yourself into a handstand. You can show up and fall a hundred times. You can't force the breakthrough — you can put in the reps that make it inevitable. The result is a byproduct: of the showing up, the sweating, the failing, the returning. Care about that.

And here's the paradox — the less you grip the outcome, the more freely you move, and the better the outcome tends to be. Anxiety about results makes us tight, hesitant, half-in. Devotion to the action makes us loose, brave, all-in. On the mat and off it.

So drop the scoreboard. Show up to the work like the work is the reward — because it is.

Care more in the action. Care less in the outcome. Then watch what the action gives you.
