Teaches power flow, slow burn and leads teacher assisting training

First experience of yoga / power yoga / REWILD YOGA?
My first experience with yoga was when I was 10. We used to do class every Friday and it was so challenging for me, but so rewarding to end my week with — even at a young age. Ever since then, I have absolutely loved it and seek ways to continue to challenge myself and others as I practice and teach power yoga now.

Why do you practice power yoga?
I practice power yoga because it is not only physically challenging, but challenges my mental and emotional awareness of my body and the bodies around me. Every class I take, I aim to leave having learned something new about myself and becoming stronger than when I entered the room.

Why do you teach power yoga?
I teach power yoga because it is so rewarding to know that I am making an impact on students’ lives. Whether that be a simple greeting interaction I have with them, or my class itself — the fact that I am able to share my knowledge and love for yoga and watch people grow is so awesome.

What you hope to bring to your classes / this community?
I hope my classes make people want to continue to practice and grow as yogis and that they feel excited and curious about each class they take. I want people to feel like I pushed them to their edge, but then their edge expanded and they moved past it. I just want to cultivate a class that shows we are so much stronger, bigger, and more powerful than we think we are.
