My first experience of yoga was 10+ years ago which led me to take an elective yoga class at Ohio State – where I learned there was so much depth to the practice. My first rewild experience was bonkers and I STRUGGLED. My best friend dragged me to one of Steve’s classes and I remember thinking this was the most challenged I had been in a long time.
A big shift in my fitness routine happened in March 2024 when I had surgery and was restricted from lifting. Yoga was the first exercise I was cleared for- granted I don’t think my doctor knew what power yoga was. I started showing up daily and yes my body was healing & getting stronger but I was experiencing such mental/emotional growth was well. This is when I really got hooked on rewild & it’s been a big part of my routine ever since!
What you hope to bring to your classes / this community?
Whether I’m teaching or taking class I value integrity, connection, and growth. You can expect to see me chatting to anyone & everyone before class – but when it’s time to be on the mat I go to a place of focus and intensity.
My goal is to create an environment where people feel challenged and supported. I’m equal parts grit & heart. I have a deep belief in this practice and every person who steps into the studio. I trust that you are capable of SO much but want you to learn how to trust in yourself too. Whether it’s your 1st class or 200th, this practice is tough and I’ll push you to lean over the edge. I take pride in the imperfect courageous moments when someone tries something new. I’m not here for perfection, I’m here for discovery and want this time to be an outlet for you. If you want to laugh, cheer, sigh, cry, or simply breathe – go here for it. Whether you walk in feeling strong or struggling I am there with you & want you to leave class feeling transformed mentally and physically.
Lastly I am a music lover through and through. My playlists pull from all genres- expect anything from john mayer, to sza, frank ocean, etta james, john summit, bon iver, dom dolla fleetwood mac, chris stapleton, or phil collins. While I love music-free sequences with powerful breath, I think music can deepen the connection to the current moment so you can expect to experience both of these during a class with me!
Any and all Training completed and year.
Non Literal sense – the energy in the room. It doesn’t matter if we are in twisted chair or savasana you can feel the energy in the room & I love it.
My favorite part when I’m taking class – The moment where you are so locked in to your breathe + the present that you almost forget you can form thoughts. It’s when my brain feels the lightest.

Favorite song – breakin dishes by Rihanna
I love so many genres but mostly listen to house & pop!
